- Nepalese authorities reported 384 travellers missing, including 291 foreign nationals, while 209 people have been rescued by ground teams and helicopters. Rescuers are racing to reach 100 people trapped inside a hydropower tunnel.
- Public Works Minister Aadhav Arjuna, School Education Minister Rajmohan, Agriculture Minister Vinoth, and Non-Resident Tamils Welfare Thennarasu arrived in New Delhi to monitor relief efforts and "facilitate the safe and speedy return of those rescued," the government said.
- Resident Commissioner of Tamil Nadu House Ashish Kumar is leading a team to Kathmandu to oversee relief and rescue measures in coordination with Nepali authorities, ensuring medical assistance for survivors from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
