Badi Lalla, great voice of the Algerian desert, died

Considered as the spiritual mother of all the Tuaregs, having sung with the Tinariwen group, the diva of Tindi died in Tizi-Ouzou at the age of 88.

Tindi diva Badi Lalla died Monday in Tizi-Ouzou at the age of 88, following a long illness, her relatives learned. The deceased's remains will be transferred from Tizi-Ouzou hospital to Tamanrasset, her hometown, where she will be buried, it was reported. The wali of Tamanrasset, Mohamed Boudraâ, sent a message of condolences to the deceased's family and her artistic family in the wilaya on the occasion of this sad news.
