Swans star Adams punched unconscious in nightclub incident

On Saturday, veteran Sydney Swans midfielder Taylor Adams was knocked unconscious at Tingira Memorial Park across the road from Club Rose Bay.
Police said officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were called just after 10.10pm to a licensed premises on Vickery Avenue following reports of an assault; the attackers left before police arrived and inquiries continue.
Treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, Adams was allegedly punched and hit the ground with force, briefly losing consciousness.
The Sydney Swans condemned the attack and said they are working with NSW Police to identify the offender; Adams was released from hospital at 7am Sunday and will be monitored daily.
Adams has been recovering from a partial Achilles tear he suffered last month, while Club Rose Bay reopened in December under Merivale and has been a hotspot in recent weeks.
