- Jacques Moretti, co-owner of Le Constellation, faced questioning in Sion, Switzerland on Feb 11 by lawyers for the victims' families after the deadly New Year fire.
- The Wallis public prosecutor said mid-week interviews were organised to allow questions previously blocked, with Yael Hayat, lawyer for the Morettis, noting it is their first chance to speak directly to victims' lawyers.
- The Jan 1 blaze killed 41 people and injured 115 others, including twenty under 18 with six Italian fatalities, while the case file holds nearly 2,000 pages and over 8,500 documents.
- The Morettis face criminal probes including manslaughter by negligence, bodily harm by negligence and arson by negligence, and Jessica Moretti is due to be questioned on Feb 12.
- Victims' lawyer Nicolas Mattenberger said they aim to understand what happened and establish responsibility, while Fabrizio Ventimiglia expects answers on security, attendance, and alcohol sales to minors, as Hayat noted the victims are isolated and cannot contact legal representatives.
