The incident began as a report of a hit-and-run accident, but it soon became apparent that it was a suspected attempted murder: a woman in her 60s was run over and died from her injuries, and it is suspected that her ex-partner intentionally hit her. Shortly afterwards, the suspect was found lifeless after jumping from a building in the city.
