Suspended Sentence Requested Against Former Dean of University of Antwerp for Inappropriate Behavior

The public prosecutor has demanded an 18-month suspended prison sentence for Guy H., former dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Antwerp. He is accused of violating sexual integrity and bullying at work. At the request of the civil party, the trial took place behind closed doors. "The victims are trying to get on with their lives and want to protect their privacy," says their lawyer Walter Damen.
