A Carmel Valley woman is in stable condition after reportedly being stabbed multiple times by a family member. William Lawrence Darpinian, 34, turned himself into the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 26 at about 4 a.m. Darpinian is being charged with attempted murder for the stabbing of his mother, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
