GASTONIA, NC – A man is in custody in Rutherford County, accused of shooting a convenience store clerk in Gastonia and a second shooting at a gathering in Forest City. Police say the first shooting happened Friday afternoon at Jacob’s Food Mart on South Marietta Street.
