Nearly 40 Percent of Surinamese Voters Voted

With more than four hours to go, 154,068 people have voted in Suriname. That is 39.52 percent of the almost 400,000 eligible voters. The waiting times are long, but the atmosphere is relaxed. The situation is closely monitored by observers from political parties.
