Despite the state of epidemic of the so-called rat fever declared last week in the Sarajevo canton in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the number of people struggling with leptospirosis is growing, Radio Sarajevo reported. Local media reports that rats the size of cats can be found in the center of the capital.

Cleanliness in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been neglected so much that rats have found their paradise on Earth there. The city's residents are sounding the alarm because the rodents are almost everywhere, even in the river, and what's more - they spread dangerous diseases. Sarajevo hospitals are recording more cases of leptospirosis, and local authorities have only taken concrete steps in the face of the crisis.
