Supreme Court rejects Kourani's appeal

The Supreme Court has rejected the request of Mohamad Thor Johannesson, formerly known as Mohamad Kourani, to appeal to the National Court of Justice of February 6 this year.He was sentenced to eight years in prison in the District Court of Reykjavík in July 2024 for attempted murder as well as other offences and is currently serving judgment.Says the judges have feared Mohamad's sigma-shot request was based on the fact that the case had signifi…
