Syracuse, N.Y. ― All current and incoming SUNY students will have the chance to attend the New York State Fair for free on the second of the fair’s thirteen-day run.

For one day out of the New York State Fair's 13-day run, current and incoming students at state colleges can go for free, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced on Friday. Aug. 27 is "Student Youth Day" at the fairgrounds this year. The Fair gates typically offer free admission to youth under 18 years old that day, though this new initiative expands the special for college students attending any school in the State University of New York (SUNY) system.
