The event took place as Cuba is experiencing a serious energy crisis, with widespread power outages throughout the country, fuel shortages and a population increasingly suffocated by ETECSA's tariff, food shortages and lack of medicines.
The photovoltaic solar park (psfv) of Carolina, the second in the province of Ciego de Ávila with power of 21,87 mega watts (MW), was inaugurated today with the presence of the Revolution Commander Ramiro Valdés Menéndez, Vice Prime Minister of the Republic, and Vicente de la O Levy, Minister of Energy and Mines.
