Paramilitary Forces in Sudan Kill at Least 10 People in Hospital Drone Attack, Medical Group Says

- The strike occurred during a children's immunization campaign, marking the latest incident in the ongoing war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the RSF that began in April 2023.
- Doctors Without Borders condemned the strikes as a "deliberate assault on health facilities," said Esperanza Santos, MSF head of emergencies for Sudan, while transferring injured patients 80 kilometers away to Kosti.
- Sudan's Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism Khalid Aleisir condemned the violence on Friday, calling for the international community to designate the RSF as a terrorist organization and prosecute its members.
- The World Health Organization reported over 200 attacks on health care since the conflict began, while U.N. figures indicate the broader war has killed more than 40,000 people.
