On Sunday evening, police officers in the Zgornje Gruškovje area in the Podlehnik municipality, which lies on the border with Croatia, were dealing with a Turkish truck driver. When they inspected the truck, they came across a tragic discovery.
Maribor police officers discovered a large number of foreigners in a Turkish-driven truck in the Zgornje Gruškovje area on Sunday afternoon, including a dead man, also a Turkish citizen. The circumstances of the man's death are still being investigated, the Maribor Police Department announced.
It was carrying 14 Turkish citizens, three Syrian citizens, three Iranian citizens and a Chinese citizen, among whom was a dead man (a Turkish citizen).
