According to the government's decision, student loan agreements concluded until December 31, 2024 will continue to be protected by the government with an interest rate freeze, so in these cases the free Student Loan1 scheme can be used at a maximum interest rate of 7.99 percent in the second half of 2025.
The government is extending the interest freeze on unrestricted student loans for another six months. However, this measure only applies to student loans taken out by the end of 2024. They will still have an interest rate of 7.99 percent, while those who took out or will take out loans in 2025 will have an interest rate of 9.65 percent.


The 7.99 percent interest rate on student loans will remain.
