“Diversity, inclusion, and belonging is where we strive to be a community in which all older adults have equitable access to resources, programs, services, and opportunities, and feel included, regardless of their age, background, abilities, socioeconomic status, or urban or rural location,” the county’s Family and Community Services director Kesa Shikaze said at the March 11 council meeting.
