MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO) -- One person was transported to the hospital after a structure fire Thursday, according to the City of Mitchell. Mitchell Fire and EMS responded to the fire at 1605 E. 1st Avenue at 3:25 p.m. Crews encountered heavy smoke coming from units #5 and #6 of the townhomes.
