Within the framework of the international project AVERT (Anticipating Volcanic Eruptions in Real-Time), and in collaboration with OVSICORI (Vulcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica), researchers from the Applied Petrology group of the University of Alicante (UA) have carried out an intense field campaign in the Poás volcano, one of the most active and imposing in Costa Rica.
