Stretch of Historic Columbia River Highway closed indefinitely

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A portion of the Historic Columbia River Highway is closed between Larch Mountain Rd. and the Vista House, the Oregon Department of Transportation announced Wednesday. The closure is due to roadway settling and officials say this will be a long-term closure. Through traffic are advised to use I-84.
