This year, the Streets for the People Program aims to address 1,252 city blocks through 138 projects in 181 neighborhoods of Managua. The program will pave 249 streets with asphalt, 397 blocks with hydraulic concrete, perform mechanized pothole repair on 459 blocks, and rehabilitate 147 blocks currently in poor condition, benefiting more than 900,000 residents of the capital.
