Street sweeping starts mid-April

Every spring, Strathcona County begins a community-wide street sweeping program to clear away the sand, gravel and debris that accumulate over the winter months. The work typically starts in mid- to late-April, when conditions are warm and dry enough, and we’re sure winter is well behind us.
