Karin Strametz won with an Austrian record of 12.81 ahead of Germany's Rosina Schneider (12.89).

Karin Strametz improved a 13-year-old record held by Beate Taylor (formerly Schrott) at the Liese Prokop Memorial in St. Pölten. The 27-year-old Styrian ran the 100m hurdles in 12.81 seconds on Thursday, finishing one-hundredth of a second below the previous record set by Taylor in July 2012 in Lucerne.
