- An 83-year-old man named Bud Parker faces driveway damage caused by flooding from Friday's storm on Old Fifth Ave in North Versailles.
- The storm caused flooding that affected 15 homes and displaced 10 people, with a dead tree damaging a nearby bridge and opening a large hole.
- Parker's house, a few feet above ground, fared better than many others while firefighters rescued a woman and child from flooded homes in the area.
- Parker said, "I just think positive all the time," and plans to fix the driveway by jackhammering, expecting it to be repaired within two months.
- Despite the damage, Parker remains optimistic, recalling, "I've come a long way" from his childhood as a cotton picker in South Carolina.
