- Truck driver George Goffredo, who works for Bay State Plate, said he was following a Catholic Mass through an app and praying the rosary at the time of the crash, and he confirmed that the steel plates were secured using four chains and binders.
- One SUV occupant sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized at Lahey Hospital, and the crash remains under investigation while lane closures and cleanup continue.
