Historic San Antonio hotels acquired by the state of Texas

The state's acquisition of the Menger and Crockett hotels is aimed at enhancing the visitor experience at the Alamo, according to the Texas General Land Office.

State of Texas Buys Two San Antonio Hotels

The Texas General Land Office, the investment firm Rockbridge, and the Alamo Trust announced the purchase of the nearby Menger and Crockett Hotels. The Alamo Trust says it is doing this to protect the Alamo’s historic grounds.
