Standard Bots Raises $200 Million Series C at $1 Billion Valuation to Scale American-Made, AI-Native Industrial Robots

- Standard Bots is betting $200 million that domestic automation can reverse American manufacturing's decline from 20 million workers in 1979 to 13 million today. China installed 295,000 industrial robots in 2024, far outpacing the United States.
- CEO Evan Beard says AI-native robots act as "the essential power tool of the 21st century," learning via demonstration rather than code. The company is expanding its Glen Cove, New York facility to 70,000 square feet to scale production.
