Forced sale of land to Stablex: Court of Appeal dismisses Blainville's and CMM's application for injunction

On Wednesday, the Court of Appeal dismissed an application by Blainville and the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal (CMM) to prevent the forced sale of land to Stablex, an American company that plans to bury previously treated hazardous waste.
