The Left and Freedom Party will submit a bill on cannabis for limited personal use to the National Assembly. The bill introduces a permit for individuals, adult residents of Slovenia, to grow up to four cannabis plants, or six plants per household.

Yesterday, with 50 votes in favor and 29 votes against, the law on cannabis for medical and scientific purposes was adopted by the parliament, which was submitted to the parliament by the deputies of Svoboda and Levice after last year's consultative referendum. MPs from the coalition parties Svoboda and Levice have prepared a draft law on cannabis, which will regulate limited personal use. The bill, among other things, allows adults to grow up to four cannabis plants at home, while resale remains strictly sanctioned. No signatures were provided by the coalition SD.
