STA: Investigation underway in Croatia against Varaždin mayor on suspicion of corruption

The Croatian Office for the Prevention of Corruption and Organized Crime (USKOK) on Thursday launched an investigation into Varaždin Mayor Neven Bosilj on suspicion of influence peddling. The largest opposition party, the Social Democratic Party (SDP), from which Bosilj comes, announced an initiative to dismiss Chief State Prosecutor Ivan Turudić due to the investigation.
