Today, a ceremonial farewell ceremony was held at the Port of Koper to the donated funds as part of the Slovenia for Madagascar project, which began a year and a half ago when the President of the Republic, Nataša Pirc Musar, was visited by the Slovenian missionary in Madagascar, Pedro Opeka. A convoy of more than eleven tons of aid for a new school and medical care departed for the island.
