Furs collected almost 6.4 billion euros in social security contributions last year

Last year, Furs collected almost 6.4 billion euros in contributions to the pension fund. This is 7.3 percent more than the year before. At the end of the year, the debt was just over 39.9 million euros, but by the end of February it had already decreased by more than half.

At today's meeting, the Board of the Pension Institution will consider the report of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (Furs) on the collection of contributions for compulsory pension and disability insurance for last year. It follows that Furs collected almost €6.4 billion in Social Security contributions last year, which are the income of the pension fund. This is 7.3 percent more than a year earlier.
