Louisville offering electric bill assistance through LIHEAP spring program

The spring subsidy is designed to help households with incomes up to 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines to offset their cooling costs.

Spring Subsidy Cooling enrollment opens: submit applications by May 30

Kentucky households may qualify for a one-time electric benefit through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Spring Subsidy Cooling Component. Applications will be accepted until May 30, 2025, on a first-come, first-served basis.
