Mill Valley’s Ben Friedman tied for second in Monday’s U.S. Junior Amateur qualifier at Stanford Golf Course with a 4-under 66. The four low scorers advance to the 77th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas, July 21-26. Friedman was 3-under on the back nine and shot six birdies during the day.
