Osoyoos, B.C. – The removal of sodium bisulphite that spilled last week from an overturned truck near here has been completed, and sampling at several points of a nearby creek has been conducted. Sodium bisulphite is an agent that reduces chlorination in drinking water. About 750 litres of the chemical was spilled from one of the totes in the truck. Castanet report
