Spencer Pratt superhero ad mocks Harris, Newsom: "LA is worth saving"
The AI-generated video has drawn millions of views and praise from conservatives, but it offers little detail on Pratt’s policy plans.
Mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt reposted an AI-generated video featuring himself as a Batman-style hero attacking Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Pratt, a former reality television star, launched his mayoral bid after his home with wife Heidi Montag burned down during the 2025 Palisades fires, becoming a vocal critic of city leadership.
Filmmaker Charles Curran of Menace Studio created the viral satire with AI-generated depictions of officials as aristocratic villains; former Florida Representative Matt Gaetz called it "basically a maximalist expression of what a political ad can do."
Wednesday night, Pratt faced incumbent Mayor Bass and City Councilmember Nithya Raman in a mayoral debate at the Skirball Cultural Center, seeking ground among the 40 percent of undecided voters.
Approaching the June 2 primary, polls show Bass leading with 25 percent support, while Pratt trails at 11 percent and Raman at 9 percent, though the race remains wide open.
