Spectacle in Liege: Osterradlauf at the border of the country

In the Lippe district several thousand are lying at nightfall in the valley. Six wooden wheels stuffed with straw roll down the mountain from above - for the observers a great show.

Lugs (dpa) – During the traditional running of the Easter bikes in Lügde, several thousand people watched the spectacle. Six wooden bikes, stuffed with straw and set on fire, rolled down a mountain slope into the valley of the Emmer river.
