The Speaker of the Latvian Parliament (Saeima) Daiga Mierinia has signed a letter to the Nobel Committee proposing that the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize be awarded to US President Donald Trump, the news weekly "Ir" reported.
For the first time in modern history, parliament presidents from different parts of the world have unanimously nominated an extraordinary leader, according to a letter sent to MTI.
