Southwick Capital Expenditure Committee hears fire and police departments’ wish list

SOUTHWICK — As the budget for fiscal year 2026 is being developed prior to May’s Town Meeting, the Capital Expenditure Committee spent last Thursday listening to pitches from the Fire and Police departments and Building and Grounds about the present and future needs.For the third year running, Fire Chief Richard Stefanowicz appeared before the committee requesting between $250,000 and $300,000 to build new bunks in the firehouse.
