The Palm Beach airport in Florida has been renamed after Donald Trump. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the facility will be named after Trump, effective Thursday. The airport has been renamed from Palm Beach International Airport to President Donald J Trump International Airport.

US President Donald Trump welcomed the update in the facilities' name, calling it a "Great Honor." He expressed gratitude towards the people for their vote in favour of the change and affirmed that the airport will become one of the "Greatest and Most Spectacular Airports anywhere in the World."
The change of name of the airport is expected to cost up to US$5.5 million.
A bridge in the name of the billionaire was also inaugurated on Thursday, in Tennessee.
