Sopron defeated defending champion DVTK 54-48 on Sunday in the women's basketball NB I final, winning the match with a 3-2 aggregate score and collecting its 17th gold medal.

The two sides could not cope with each other in the final of the women's basketball championship. Sopron Basket and DVTK were tied 2-2, and so the decisive fifth game could take place on Sunday at the home of the regular season winners of Sopron.
