It's only the first week of June, but dry conditions and hot, windy weekend weather fueled a wildfire north of Plains. The Banana Lake Fire started Saturday north of Plains near Banana Lake. The fire grew to 200 acres Saturday evening and by Tuesday was listed at 915 acres.
