While the Ministry of Labour aims at EUR 400 million in savings on conventional breakdowns per year, the employers, who are crippled by the debates on the budget, ask the government for a plan of EUR 1 billion.
The employers' organisations have written to the Prime Minister to review his copy of the savings on unemployment insurance. While the government is targeting 400 million, the Medef, the SMEC and the U2P are asking for a reduction in the expenditure on the allowance of 1 billion euros.
