Manhunt for Alleged Arsonist Accused of Torching Single Mum's Car
Early Saturday morning, a kebab truck owned by Sydney influencer Anthony Lees, known as Spanian, caught fire in a Preston car park on Bell Street.
Investigators believe the fire was deliberately started with a flammable liquid, igniting the truck at approximately 4 a.m.
The truck, part of Spanian's Kebabs franchise with locations in NSW and Melbourne, had operated for only two weeks before the damage occurred.
Lees acknowledged that although the front wall was damaged by the fire, it was not a major problem because a replacement truck is currently being sent from Sydney, and he anticipates the business will resume operations by tonight.
Police are continuing their investigation into the suspicious fire, while efforts are underway to replace and restore the affected truck, demonstrating the community’s support for these local food vendors.
