The snowboarding and freestyle skiing events at the Olympics will be hosted by Livigno, a town in the province of Sondrio in the Lombardy region, near the Swiss border. The town in the Valtellina valley has previously hosted snowboarding World Cup events, in one of which Dejan Košir won third place, but it has not hosted top-level competition since 2000.
The snowboarding competitions at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy are raising medal expectations in the hearts of Czech fans. Two female aces will also be taking part in the event in Livigno.
