The Slovenian Cultural Day was also celebrated with a traditional event at the Slovenian Embassy in Brussels on Wednesday evening. Prior to this, the European Parliament in the Belgian capital hosted the opening of the exhibition "Golden Cut" by artist Izidor Tomaž Perek, which presents portraits of key figures in Slovenian culture, including France Prešeren.
