- Saturday, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts benched shortstop Mookie Betts against the Milwaukee Brewers, and may hold him out of Sunday's lineup as well.
- Transitioning to a full-time shortstop, he has struggled to adapt to his defensive duties, after a stomach bug caused him to lose 15 pounds and a May toe fracture.
- Since June 8, Betts has hit just.188 with a.527 OPS in 32 games, including going 0 for 4 with two strikeouts Friday night, as Roberts said he needed a mental day.
