- Amid mid-air distress, Majumdar suffered a panic attack on IndiGo flight 6E-138 and was allegedly slapped by Hafijul Rahman, worsening the situation.
- The incident's video circulated widely online, prompting the family to file a missing persons report and Hafijul Rahman to be detained and handed over to Kolkata Police.
- In response, IndiGo said `The safety and well-being of our customers and crew remain our foremost priority...`, and Rahman has been banned from all flights.
