Sky-high expectations for new German government – which is delayed

Russia is taking advantage of Germany being a ship without a captain at the helm: while Friedrich Merz is tearing his hair out over the time it will take to form a government, the Kremlin is advancing its positions in Ukraine. Without Germany, the European gathering of forces for Ukraine will go nowhere.
