The carmaker Škoda Auto has produced seven million transmissions at its Vrchlabí plant in the Trutnov region. Last year, the plant increased production of DQ 200 automatic transmissions by 1.5 percent year-on-year to a record 721,400 units, up from 710,600 units the year before and 686,066 units in 2023. The carmaker has been producing transmissions in Vrchlabí since 2012.
